Overview

We are looking for a driven and passionate Senior Digital Designer to join our creative team at our agency. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-quality, visually appealing digital assets for a variety of clients. Your designs will be used across a range of platforms, including compelling static and animated social ads, marketing emails, and landing pages for a variety of exciting brands.

As a Senior Digital Designer, you are an experienced professional with a strong portfolio of work showcasing your ability to create engaging, effective digital designs. You will be able to take direction from our creative team and clients, and work independently or collaboratively to deliver high-quality designs.

What You’ll Do

You will be trained and oriented to help support new and ongoing client initiatives, including digital campaigns, emails, digital advertisements, landing pages, and more.

Our environment is fast-paced and collaborative. Someone who is positive, driven, and eager to learn and grow will thrive here at Anchour. Remote-first position. Reports to Director of Design.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating campaign concepts; collaborating with strategy and content teams
  • Designing one-off deliverables including email templates, small ad sets, and landing pages
  • Creating content to support Anchour’s organic social channels, highlighting the agency’s recent work and capabilities
  • Presenting designs to clients; articulating design thinking and rationale clearly
  • Revising designs based on client feedback accurately
  • Managing your time and priorities; providing accurate time estimates for work
  • Supporting the production team by collaborating on one-off assets as needed
  • Staying up to date on current digital marketing trends and best practices

What We’d Like To See
  1. 5+ years of experience in a digital or creative agency.
  2. We're a team that believes in punching above your weight. If you feel your experience and book is representative of what we're seeking, we encourage you to apply.
  3. Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  4. Extensive experience designing a variety of digital deliverables for a range of brands—including static social ads, display ads, emails, landing pages, and more.
  5. Light animation skills are preferred but not necessary.
  6. A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging, effective digital designs.
  7. Basic working knowledge of best practices, technical specs, and campaign objectives for Meta and Google Display ad campaigns.
  8. You have a strong eye for design and understanding of grid systems, typography, information hierarchy, and composition.
  9. You’re an innovative, creative thinker with the ability to create a range of visual concepts in a response to a brief.
  10. You strive for excellence in all tasks—big and small—understanding the importance of both. You have an obsession with all the little details and are good at self-editing.
  11. You’re curious about the latest industry trends and are committed to staying on top of digital best practices.
  12. Experience collaborating with teammates (copywriters, other designers, digital marketers, and more) as well as clients. You’re a positive team player.
  13. A passionate self-starter capable of learning quickly and taking initiative with projects from concept to completion independently.
